The Schoolyard Forest initiative is underway and is set to transform seven McAllen elementary schools into vibrant outdoor learning environments. This project is supported by a Texas A&M Forest Service Grant and includes a partnership with Quinta Mazatlan. These projects emphasize the importance of nature in education, providing students with hands-on experiences that foster environmental stewardship and enhance their learning. Our expertise in designing these spaces ensures that children of all ages will benefit from engaging, interactive, and sustainable outdoor settings.
